Responsibilities
Michael Koziara is the vice president of network strategy and the Priority Health Eastern Region, a geographic area including southeastern Michigan and stretching east to Michigan's Thumb, north to Gladwin and south to the state line. His responsibilities include overseeing the development of a statewide provider network to make excellent health care accessible to Priority Health members across Michigan. In addition, he is responsible for long-term strategic development of the Priority Health Eastern Region, implementing strategies for business development and growth, product introduction and diversification, and customer service.
Work experience
Mr. Koziara has more than 25 years of health industry related experience. Prior to joining Priority Health, Koziara served as the CFO for Care Choices, a regional provider-sponsored HMO in Southeast Michigan. He has also held various managed care roles within the Trinity Health System. He is a certified public accountant by training and spent five years with Coopers & Lybrand in its Detroit office.
