Priority Health director named a ‘40 Under 40’ by Traverse City Business News
(TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — September 3, 2024) Lauren Harris, senior director of solutions consulting for Employer Solutions at Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 million members, has been selected as a “40 Under 40” honoree by Traverse City Business News.
The recognition program honors 40 people under the age of 40 who have shown leadership in their communities and are making an impact in the Grand Traverse region.
Harris is responsible for leading a team that supports the development and implementation of innovative solutions designed to address whole-person care, quality, member experience and affordability for employers. She is also responsible for building the self-funded commercial line of business at Priority Health.
“Lauren’s dedication, leadership and forward-thinking approach have been pivotal in developing and delivering creative solutions that meet the needs of our members," said Rick Abbott, senior vice president of Employer Solutions at Priority Health. “She is a highly valued team member and an excellent representative of our vision and mission.”
Harris joined the Priority Health sales team in 2011, where she worked for 10 years before joining an external employee benefits agency. She rejoined Priority Health in 2024 to build the newly created Solutions Consulting team.
“It is incredibly humbling to receive this recognition, and confirmation of the work I’m involved in is valued by our community,” Harris said. “To share in this award with the other 40 Under 40 recipients is an honor.”
Harris is an active member of the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce and the Traverse Area Human Resource Association. She also serves as chair of the marketing committee for Venture North. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and holds a health, life and accident producer license from the State of Michigan.
