Priority Health, HMA partner to launch TPA solution for self-funded employers

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — October 28, 2024) Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 million members, and Healthcare Management Administrators, Inc. (HMA), a leading third-party administrator (TPA), have entered a strategic alliance to offer a new solution for Michigan-based, self-funded employers, starting January 1, 2025. 

The new TPA solution is designed to give employers access to Priority Health’s comprehensive provider network, while empowering them to customize their health plan to best meet their employees’ needs. HMA’s self-funded industry expertise and people-forward approach drive savings and address a variety of employer needs. The solution is ideal for self-funded employers with more than 100 employees.

The new solution directly addresses the health care concerns of employers, including limited plan customization options and rising costs. It gives employers greater flexibility to design health care plans that meet their employees' needs.
