Many of our Medicare plans offer PriorityCare–real support from real people in the form of a Papa Pal. Papa connects real people to Medicare members who need companionship or assistance with transportation, household chores and other tasks. Papa Pals can be used whenever you need them, either in-person or virtually; the amount of hours per year varies depending on your plan.
A Papa Pal can help with:
- Companionship: Play board games, watch a movie, take a walk
- Technology: How to use computers, smart phones, tablets, software
- House needs: Light cleaning, meal prep, organizing, pet help
- Transportation: Doctor appointments, errands, grocery shopping
PriorityCare also includes unlimited:
- Social care navigation. Papa Pals work together with social care specialists who provide an extra layer of help when issues arise with things like navigating your benefits, the healthcare system or finding community resources.
- Our D-SNP plans also include unlimited caregiver support. Caregivers will have the ability to contact trained care advocates for support and resources.
Member testimonials
“It really helps to have people to talk to every once in a while, especially when you live alone. I enjoy talking with someone younger who has different perspectives than mine.”

“I am very happy with my [Papa Pal]. She gets things done. She is very accommodating to my needs and wants. This service has been very helpful since my husband went into the hospital and hasn’t been able to help me.”
