Getting counseling
Help with mental health and substance abuse problems
Priority Health Behavioral Health services provide help and guidance for you when you're dealing with issues like depression, anxiety or addiction. Your call is confidential and you do not need a referral from a doctor.
- All members: Call our Behavioral Health staff at 800.673.8043. A behavioral health case manager will connect you with the right resources.
- PPO members: By calling our Behavioral Health staff, you know you'll be connected with an in-network provider for coverage at the in-network benefits level. You do not need to contact Priority Health to arrange for mental health services at the out-of-network level.
- POS members: When you call Priority Health's Behavioral Health department, they will automatically arrange for care at your preferred benefits level.
- MyPriority® members: MyPriority plans only cover substance abuse services. By calling our Behavioral Health staff, you'll be connected with an in-network provider for coverage at the in-network benefits level.
What will your plan cover?
Most plans cover these services, but your copays and annual limits will vary. For the specific behavioral health services covered under your plan, check your coverage documents (Certificate of Coverage booklet, Summary Plan Document or insurance policy) and any riders your employer may have added to your insurance coverage.
Help after hours
If you are in a life-threatening situation, call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room.
If the situation isn't life-threatening but it can't wait until regular business hours, call Priority Health Behavioral Health Services at 800.673.8043. Our answering service will contact a behavioral health clinician who will return your call promptly.
