Get started using your Priority Health benefits
Thank you for choosing Priority Health. We know health insurance can be complicated, that’s why we want to make it easier for you to use your benefits so you can spend more time doing the things you love.
To get started, create your online account
The Priority Health app and member account offer you an easy way to access and manage your health insurance information anytime, anywhere. View your personalized information, find doctors, keep track of spending and access tools to help you save money on the cost of care.
Don't forget to download the Priority Health app on the App Store or Google Play to have on-the-go access to all of the information you need.
Get your preventive care
Priority Health covers preventive care services that you receive from an in-network provider, at no cost to you.
We encourage all our members to take advantage of their preventive care coverage by having regular physical exams, mammograms, colonoscopies and immunizations like the flu shot.

No referrals needed to see a specialist
With our plans you don’t need a referral to see an in-network specialist. Some specialists may require a referral from your doctor before they’ll see you, but there’s no approval needed from Priority Health.
Finding doctors, hospitals and pharmacies
While you're in the Priority Health service area, we ask that you use participating doctors and hospitals. You can search for providers in the network by using our online Find a Doctor directory.
You can go to any pharmacy in our network of more than 66,000 pharmacies nationwide, but you'll pay less for your covered drugs when you use a preferred pharmacy. This applies to Medicare plans only. See a list of preferred pharmacies.
Care outside Michigan
We know our members like to travel, and we want to make sure you're covered while you do. In the case of a medical emergency, your coverage is the same whether you're here at home, in another state or even another country.
Non-Medicare
You have access to routine care while traveling. Which means, when you’re away from home you’ll have coverage for office visits, procedures and more. You're also covered worldwide for emergency and urgent care services. For more information on how to use your travel coverage, review the benefit details in your plan documents.
Medicare
You have a travel benefit that covers care outside of the lower peninsula of Michigan at in-network costs with any Medicare-participating provider in the U.S. You also have unlimited worldwide emergent and urgent care. Plus, your plan includes Assist America® for global emergency travel assistance when you’re more than 100 miles from home or in a foreign country. For more information on how to use your travel coverage, review the benefit details in your plan documents.Prescription coverage
You can search for participating pharmacies, including all the national chains, and see which are preferred and non-preferred using our online Find a Doctor directory.
You may use our online Approved Drug List to see if your current prescriptions are covered by your plan. The approved drug list, also known as a formulary, determines how prescriptions will be covered.
