Check the status of your auth requests
With a prism account, checking the status of your authorization requests is easy.
- Log into your prism account
- Select the Authorizations menu, then click Auth Inquiry
There, you'll see a list of your authorization requests, and which have been approved or denied.
If the request is still in process, you can find more details by:
- In-network providers: Selecting the Authorizations menu, then clicking Request an Auth. There you can find details through the program where the authorization was submitted (GuidingCare or eviCore)
- Out-of-network providers: Calling Provider Services for a status
Don't have a prism account?
If you need to request authorizations from us frequently, we recommend you create a prism account. Then you'll be able to use our Auth Inquiry tool to status all your authorizations.
