MDHHS to host webinar on Healthy Michigan Plan work requirements coming Jan. 1, 2020

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) will be holding a provider webinar about upcoming changes to the Healthy Michigan Plan on Dec. 17, 2019 from 3 to 4 p.m. Attendees will receive information about the upcoming changes and can submit questions. 

What will the webinar cover?

Effective Jan. 1, 2020, MDHHS is implementing new work requirements for Medicaid beneficiaries who have Healthy Michigan Plan (HMP) health care coverage. HMP beneficiaries who are between the ages of 19 and 62 and do not meet exemption criteria will be subject to the new requirements as a condition of Medicaid eligibility.
